Sharing a configuration

Share sheet, embed card, PDF export and the config in the URL.

Every tool keeps its whole configuration in the page address, so the plainest way to share a result is to copy the address bar: whoever opens the link gets the same inputs and a fresh calculation on today's prices. The share actions add a written summary, the raw result and, in the calculator, an image card and an embed code.

Each tool writes its state into the URL as you change inputs, replacing the current history entry rather than adding one. The encoding differs by tool:

ToolWhere the state livesNotes
Inference calculator/#<config>The whole input as base64 JSON in the hash. /?gpus=<slug> pins a GPU so it is always sized.
What fits my GPU?rev=<config>Short form ?gpu=<slug>&ctx=<tokens> for a card and a context.
Optimize?model=…&workload=…Readable query: model, users, workload, goal, runtime, KV cache, limits (caps), context and the picked setup.
TCO · Fine-tuning · Edge?cfg=<config>Base64 JSON of the form; TCO also accepts ?gpu=<slug> as the anchor card.
Compare GPUs?gpus=a,b,cUp to four catalog slugs, plus view and the workload (model, dtype, ctx, users).
Cloud prices?gpu=<slug>Opens that GPU's provider table and price history.

A link carries inputs, not results. Prices and the model itself can move between the day you copied it and the day it is opened; the recipient sees the estimate for their day.

Take it with you

On a desktop the actions sit in the Take it with you card of the right-hand rail; on a phone they open in the Share sheet, which adds Share via… where the browser supports the system share dialog.

  • Copy link — the address above.
  • Copy summary — a plain-text block for an email, a ticket or a sizing document: model, precision, context, the VRAM required, the chosen configuration with its speed and cost, and the link back.
  • Copy JSON — the full API response, for a script or an appendix.
  • Save PNG card (calculator) — an image of the answer for slides and chat.
  • Copy embed code (calculator) — an <iframe> of a compact result card served from /embed?cfg=…. The card recalculates on load, shows the top configuration with its fit and links back here.
  • 90-day cost history (calculator and TCO) — the cost of the chosen configuration over the last 90 days of market prices.

The tools add their own next step: Open in calculator from What fits, Open GPU page from fine-tuning, Device page from Edge. Cloud prices offers the GPU's price page, an Atom feed of its price changes and a snapshot image of today's market (see Cloud prices).

Printing

The tool pages have a print stylesheet that drops the share and navigation controls, so the browser's Print → Save as PDF gives a clean page for a proposal. There is no separate PDF export.

What stays in your browser

A shared link reaches us only when someone opens it. Using a share action is logged like any other interaction — which action, on which tool, never the text you copied. The last inputs of the calculator and What fits, your recent calculations and recent searches are kept in your browser's local storage only; the full list of keys is on the privacy page.
